New Teething Veils LP "Canopy of Crimson" out August 10, 2020

Washington, D.C.-based chamber-folk outfit Teething Veils is set to release their fourth LP for Etxe, Canopy of Crimson, on August 10. The album captures some of the more intimate songs and barest arrangements that the band has recorded to date, made largely live in the studio.  You can preview the album's opening song on the band's Bandcamp page, and pre-order the album ahead of its relase.

As in all previous Teething Veils releases, the album artwork was made by Los Angeles-band artist Adam de Boer, who for the past ten years has travelled throughout Indonesia to investigate his Eurasian heritage. His recent work employs imagery and traditional crafts from the region as a way to connect his artistic practice with those of his distant cultural forebears. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
